Okay, no fandom is 100% good. And the Brony fandom clearly has bad eggs.

However, the vast majority of bronies are good, accepting, sweet people who finally have a subculture that accepts them as they are: good, kind people who don’t need to be macho-masculine. That’s really hard. For the girls/women in the fandom, it’s equally important. The show is about real things that happen in life (adult!!) life. I can’t tell you how many lessons about dealing with stress there are, and for a grad student with anxiety problems, it’s just lovely.

Even the clop fiction. I really don’t like it. It’s not for me. Much of it, however, is written from a need to satisfy sexual urges (which we all agree are fine things to have). Many/some of the men/boys who part-take aren’t accepted by society because they are not traditionally masculine, PLUS if you really do have feelings for a character (which I know many of you all do), you know it’s a personal relationship. This is about expression love, sexuality, and emotions on a personal level in ways that traditional masculinity does not accept.

Okay, there are bad Bronies. There are loud Bronies. There are people who troll Brony conventions. These are not the majority of Bronies. Do not confuse this.

You don’t have to like MLP. You don’t have to agree with clop fiction / fan art. But the writers of the show love their adult fanbase, they write for their adult fanbase AND their young fanbase, and the fanbase loves them in return. What’s wrong with that?

Well, I still need thousands of gems. And at a rate of 5/day at most? This is gonna take a while. But I’d really like to just get Luna and start city-building without parasprites all over the place.

I can’t handle more than a dozen or so posts per day per person, though. I’m not that good. I just want more fun fan times on my dash. I like original art, too.
